Kuching: The Sarawak government has launched a website to promote World Para Swimming Championship 2019, which will be held from July 29 - 4 August 2018. The website serves to deliver information to the participants and keep them informed about this prestigious event. Besides, the website also connects to the social media websites which will make it easy to share and connect with friends, family members, aquaintances and even strangers, said Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth And Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.

KUCHING: Sarawak is honoured to host the Kuching World Para Swimming Championships from July 29 to Aug 4 next year. Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said Kuching would become the first Asian city and Malaysia the first Asian country ever to host the event which is the biggest para swimming meet to be held before the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

KUCHING: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Paralympic Council of Malaysia (PCM) with the state government to jointly organise the World Para Swimming Championship has made Kuching the first Asian city ever to host the event.
